Blount Springs

Today we went to the sulphur and arsenic springs outside Blountsville.
Because...that's the kind of thing we do on the weekend.

There were 2, they look just alike.

They both smelled like day-old pee.

There was this...stuff in the stream flowing from the springs.
It looked like grey spaghetti.  Or hair.  Eep!

The water was a chalky grey, then it flowed into a larger creek and...nothing!  The color faded within just a couple inches, it was SO weird.
The whole area smelled really awful, sulphur is vile stuff.
